Jade Jackson is an American singer-songwriter whose work draws together country storytelling, rock dynamics and the plainspoken character of folk music.
Her musical education began at home, where a family record collection opened a route into roots music and songwriting. She started writing while young and learned to use narrative detail rather than ornament: roads, rooms, departures and difficult decisions became recurring points of focus.
Jackson's debut album, Gilded, arrived in 2017. Produced by Mike Ness, the record introduced a guitar-led sound that could be restrained one moment and forceful the next. Songs including “Motorcycle” and “Finish Line” established the cinematic, unsentimental writing associated with that period.
The 2019 follow-up, Wilderness, expanded the emotional range without abandoning that clarity. Later work brought collaboration with Aubrie Sellers under the name Jackson+Sellers, adding close vocal interplay and a broader blend of country and rock textures. This archive treats each chapter as part of one evolving songwriting history.
